Tony La Russa and his Animal Rescue Foundation will be howling in St. Louis this weekend with their annual "Stars To The Rescue" benefit. The doubleheader of events begins at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night with a reception at Lumen, the new downtown private event space from Pat Shannon, Pete Ferretti and Buddy Coy. Among the guests expected to join the La Russa family are: AT&T topper Cindy Brinkley; Anheuser-Busch's Bob Lachky; Nestlé Purina's Pat McGinnis and Steve Crimmins; Truman Bank's Richard Miller and Danny Slavin; Mike Shannon; Carole and Julie Buck; new Cardinals GM John Mozeliak; and Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright.
